Celebrating Collaboration: InGeNA Finalist in the Health Industry Hub Awards

We are honoured to share that InGeNA is a nominee for the Health Industry Hub Catalysts for Change Awards 2025 in the Excellence in Collaboration category. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing genomics in Australia through genuine collaboration across the health sciences ecosystem.
A highlight of this work has been delivering the Industry Roundtable on the draft National Health Genomics Policy Framework. We brought together our members, partners, and patient advocates to provide feedback on the framework, with both federal and state governments attending as observers. This roundtable demonstrated the power of a united industry voice in shaping policy for better health outcomes.
You can hear more about this initiative in the recent Health Industry Hub podcast, featuring our CEO Dr Erin Evans in conversation with Madeline O’Donoghue, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer from Pathology Technology Australia. They unpack how we scale genomics nationally in the wake of the draft National Health Genomics Policy Framework.
Their podcast theme is: What it will take to code genomics into the heart of healthcare in Australia?

We are deeply grateful to Health Industry Hub for shining a light on organisations striving to challenge the status quo and reimagine healthcare. Your platform elevates critical work in policy innovation, research translation, collaboration, and patient-centred care.
Being selected among the finalists reminds us that moving health systems forward isn’t done in isolation. It takes advocacy, togetherness, and the kind of collaborative spirit Health Industry Hub fosters by enabling us all to see what leadership, innovation, and impact look like.
