Dec 2, 2025

We’re proud to share that InGeNA CEO Dr Erin Evans has been appointed as one of seven individual members of the newly formed Genomics Australia Advisory Council, chaired by the Genomics Commissioner Tiffany Boughtwood
We are especially delighted to see industry and health technology representation on this inaugural Council, recognising the vital role innovation and implementation partners play in advancing genomics in healthcare.

The Advisory Council will help guide the strategic direction of Genomics Australia and support the development of a national vision and roadmap for health genomics over the next 5 to 10 years. It brings together government representatives, experts from across the sector, alongside individuals with lived experience.

“It’s an honour to serve on the Genomics Australia Advisory Council.” said Dr Evans. “We are at a pivotal moment to embed genomics and precision medicine into mainstream care for improving lives, strengthening our health system, and creating national economic value. I’m looking forward to contributing to this important work and enabling a strong vision and implementation with positive impact for all Australians.”

Dr Evans brings a strong connection to a wide community of stakeholders and a deep commitment to advancing genomics-led healthcare in Australia.
We congratulate all members of the Advisory Council and look forward to partnering on the important work ahead. Delighted to see fantastic leaders across genomics represented on the Council.
