VCGS (Victorian Clinical Genetics Services) are Australian experts in genetic testing. VCGS supports children, adults and families who are living with a genetic condition, or who want to understand their chance of developing one.
They provide:
- clinical care (looking after patients and supporting their doctors)
- genetic screening (tests to identify high or low chance of condition)
- and diagnostic testing (test to confirm a condition)Our services span the whole spectrum of life, from before conception through to adulthood.
VCGS is part of Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, located at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne. They’re not for profit and use proceeds from testing to support medical research and clinical service development.
