AusMedtech 2025 Wrap Up

InGeNA was proud to be part of AusMedtech 2025, where a standout theme was the accelerating convergence of precision and personalised medicine, driven by innovation in diagnostics, data, and design.
Our “Medtech Meets Medicines” panel reflected this perfectly, featuring inspiring InGeNA members, Laura I. and Suzanna Lindsey-Temple who are leading the way with patient-centric, co-designed solutions that are transforming care. It was such a fantastic conversation and we will share more content on this soon. Thanks for everyone who joined us and for the wonderful vollies. We also love conversations with the next generation of future leaders.
Congratulations to the AusBiotech team on a hugely successful conference – relaxed, engaging and informative. Perfect for networking and relationship building.
We have marked our calendar for the 2026 AusMedtech in Perth, 19-21 May. With the strong support of life sciences innovation in WA championed by Minister Stephen Dawson, it is going to be great!
While in Sydney, we also had the pleasure of:
- Visiting the incredible organisations at UNSW, Ramaciotti Centre for Genomics and Omico, where genomics research is being translated into real patient impact
- Meeting with Omico to advance shared policy goals, including mainstreaming Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP)
- Catching up with our local board and members, because at the heart of what we do are relationships and collaboration
- Connecting with the WA delegation and Tracey Wilkinson from MTPConnect as we develop plans to spotlight genomics in WA this year
Precision healthcare is no longer a future ambition. It is here, and it is transforming medtech and medicine removing the silos.
