Dec 24, 2025

We are excited to announce the appointment of two new Independent Directors. Following an extensive search and interviews with a number of highly qualified candidates InGeNA’s board are pleased to announce we have selected Monica Ferrie and Sandra Owens to fill the two vacancies for Independent Directors on InGeNA’s board.
Monica Ferrie is the CEO of the Genetic Support Network of Victoria. GSNV is a vibrant and active not for profit organisation supporting people living with genetic, undiagnosed and rare conditions to flourish and live their best lives. Monica’s experience leading this organisation, in conjunction with her extensive background in “Not for Profit” organisations and patient advocacy will make an important contribution to InGeNA’s board.
Sandra Owens is the CEO of AccessOncology and ScienceToLife. In this role she has successfully led multidisciplinary teams to product launches resulting in optimised patient access to innovative therapies across Australia and New Zealand. This combined with her deep industry knowledge of oncology, genomics and business development will be a valuable resource for InGeNA’s board.
We were very fortunate to have received applications from a number of extremely well qualified candidates, highlighting the increased awareness InGeNA is creating in the genomics and precision medicine space. I am excited to lead InGeNA’s board with such an outstanding team of directors and look forward to taking the organisation into the next phase of its growth.
