InGeNa Industry Breakfast Event

On 19 September 2024 InGeNA hosted an energising Genomics Industry breakfast during the #GA4GH conference in Melbourne. A huge thank you to our sponsor Amazon Web Services (AWS) and to Charlie Lee, PhD and Edwin Sandanaraj, PhD for their support.  
 

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our insightful panelists: Catalina Lopez-Correa, Edwin Sandanaraj, PhD, Monica Ferrie, and Maxime Hebrard. Thanks also to GA4GH organisers and Australian Genomics Tiffany Boughtwood for your support in hosting during GA4GH plenary.  

Common challenges were tackled, including regulatory hurdles, policy, funding, data management, and the ever-important need for collaboration. Australia’s forward-thinking insurance discrimination bill was highlighted as an example of progress in the space. 

InGeNA’s DNA is rooted in collaboration, coordination, and action to accelerate adoption and improve patient outcomes with genomics. We’re ready to keep pushing forward!
