InGeNA welcomes our new partner the UTS Discipline of Genetic Counselling
The Discipline of Genetic Counselling at the University of Technology Sydney plays a key role in educating the future genetic counselling workforce, preparing graduates to lead and shape the evolving use of genomic healthcare.
Our program develops genetic counsellors with a distinctive and highly valued skill set—strong foundations in genetics alongside advanced communication, client–centred practice, family awareness, and ethical and psychosocial expertise—positioning them as changemakers across clinical, research, policy, and system–level genomic care.
Through partnership with InGeNA, this educational focus is strengthened by connection to industry and sector perspectives, supporting alignment between workforce training and the future needs of genomic healthcare.
