As we start the new year, InGeNA continues our mission to realise the full potential of genomics to personalise healthcare. This year we look forward to working closely with our partners to advocate for the benefits genomics can bring to both patient outcomes and health system sustainability.
Our priorities and program of work will be guided by the outcomes from the Precision Health Roundtable event held in Canberra in October last year. Here, genomics industry researchers, planners and policy makers, clinicians and consumer representatives met to discuss how to advance precision health in Australia by 2030. InGeNA will be enthusiastically leading the charge to execute these plans and priorities.
Finally, major events this year include MedInfo 2023 in Sydney in July, closely followed by the 23rd International Congress of Genetics in Melbourne later that month.
